Lenovo DACH is growing and we are investing in our Smart Collaboration team! We are looking for a Business Development Manager to be responsible for driving Workplace Transformation opportunities through new and existing Channel Partners. 

In this position you will have responsibility to grow the revenue and profit and position our company for continued success. You will champion the innovative power of our products to make our customers more productive, collaborative and transformative. You are joining an EMEA spread team and are reporting to our EMEA Smart Collaboration Channel Lead.

Your responsibilities are to:

  • Build partnerships with existing and new Smart Collaboration Expert partners by coordinating the efforts of sales, opportunity management, marketing and pre and post sales technical support to maximize Revenue and Margin for Lenovo Workplace Transformation products.
  • Build & execute operational plans for Workplace Transformation products and options.
  • Own ongoing analysis of metrics & business performance
  • Assess & mitigate risks / issues through effective contingency plans.
  • Keep deals moving through the funnel, together with segments account manager and the local Smart Collaboration Channel Sales Specialist managing the business partners.
  • Focus on positive relationships in the territory and ensure that our customers receive world class sales and customer service.
  • Maintain market and competitive knowledge to act as a trusted consultant with customers, and educate them and also our partners on Lenovo's technology while developing a working knowledge of Lenovo's Smart Collaboration offerings.
  • Produce accurate account plans, sales forecasts and ensure sales activity is tracked using the required reporting tools.
  • What you bring:

  • 10+ years of business development, or sales / marketing experience in the IT industry or AV industry.
  • Proficiency in being able to sell the value of Workplace Transformation & associated solutions;
  • Strong relationships with the IT channel ecosystem in the DACH territory
  • Fluency in German and English
