Responsibilities:

Freudenberg Performance Materials (FPM) is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager in our Global General Industry (GI) Division to drive business expansion and foster sustainable growth. Our GI Division operates across various industrial sectors providing innovative and sustainable nonwoven solutions in energy, automotive and special industry applications. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building business and bringing innovative ideas to life on an operative level.

Your Impact:

  • Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, while contributing to the strategic direction of new ventures in automotive, sustainable mobility, and green energy.

  • Prospecting: Generate and maintain a dynamic pipeline of prospects through various channels to ensure a steady flow of potential clients or partners.

  • Planning: Develop comprehensive and targeted business plans that include market entry strategies, growth initiatives, financial projections and risk assessments.

  • Build Business: Oversee client projects with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery, while driving internal initiatives to optimize sales processes and enhance overall sales performance.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field.

  • Relevant experience in business development.

  • Fluent in (written and spoken) German & English.

  • We offer hybrid working options, including the ability to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
    Up to 30% travel, both domestically & internationally- visiting operational locations & customers
