What you'll do
As UX Head of Application Design for S/4HANA Operational Manufacturing and Logistics (m/f/d) you will report to the Head of Application Design for Cloud ERP. You will lead multiple teams of user experience product designers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be a strong influencer and promoter of extra-ordinary user and customer experience for your product area
- Build a highly motivated user experience design team with focus on product centric products (including, but not limited to Asset Management, Quality management and Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management and Core Logistics)
- Together with your teams, support the SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition's strategic direction and growth ambitions
- Coach your senior user experience leads and experts in living and breathing a cloud-mindset, product-led growth, and a strong business acumen
- Take ownership of user pains points and - together with your team and their peers in engineering and product management - turn them into product solutions. Guide and coach your teams from problem definition through experimentation to delivery and measuring success.
- Engage with stakeholders at all stages of the product lifecycle to ensure we are solving the right problems and building products our customers adopt and like
What you bring
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in the software industry preferably in User Experience Design
- 2+ years of management experience leading a team of designers / researchers
- Excellent people management & leadership skills and ability to withstand high pressure from internal and external stakeholders
- Effectively relate to multicultural teams
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with demonstrable success in previous positions
- Expertise in one or multiple of the core topics of product centric ERP mentioned above would be advantageous
- Fluent or near-native English language skills
- Fluent in German is a plus
