Your role
As Trading System Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are in a team which develops enhancements and new solutions for our group wide used execution trading system (FIS Front Arena AMS/OMNI, Avaloq) as well as for surrounding systems. This role contains project management work and frequent traveling between Basel and Zürich.
Your responsibilities
Define IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading system, e.g. Front Arena AMS/OMNI (Market Access, Order Routing, Settlement) and Avaloq Implement, configure and test new functionalities Analyse and support on business level Write documentations Your profile
Higher education (university / FH) in IT or natural sciences Additional training in Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) 3 years of practical experience in an IT trading environment Basic knowledge in the area Trading (Eq, FI, Deriv, FX) as well as experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption is required Knowledge in FIS Front Arena execution trading system and/or Avaloq is an advantage Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work with various stakeholder Capability to work independently as well as ands-on mentality Ability to work under pressure Fluency in English, fluency in German is a plus Please note that only direct applications will be considered .
