Software Engineer with focus on frontend 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

For our client, a company in the insurance industry based in Bern, we are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on front end for a permanent role.

Your responsibilities:

• Development, optimization and operation with a focus on frontend solutions
• Designing user-friendly interfaces in close cooperation with the UX team
• Support with backend development as needed
• Improving usability through innovative approaches
• Carrying out tests and quality assurance measures
• Knowledge exchange and support within the team

Your qualifications:

• Completed computer science degree or equivalent training
• Experience in developing web applications with Storyblok (Astro), Next.js and React; knowledge of Java and Spring Boot is an advantage
• Consistent working method with networked, goal- and solution-oriented thinking
• Knowledge and practical experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
• Enthusiasm for container technologies and platforms (Kubernetes)
• Team player in an agile environment (knowledge of Scrum and/or SAFe)
• Due to Swiss work permit restrictions, we can only consider applications from Swiss nationals, EU citizens as well as current work-permit holders for Switzerland.
