Senior Security and System Engineer
(Contracting position)
Location: Zurich - hybrid
Type of employment: 1 year contract with possibility to prolong
Your responsibilities:
Operate and Maintain Security Services: Manage the PKI and signing environment per regulatory frameworks and standards.Audit Support: Facilitate and accompany external audits alongside the Information Security Officer (ISO).Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Provide 3rd-level support for troubleshooting, log analysis, and incident management, including on-call service (8-10 week rotation).Linux Server Management: Administer RedHat Linux servers, including deploying patches, updates, and standard virtualization.Automation and Configuration Management: Utilize tools like Puppet and Ansible for deployment and configuration.Security Best Practices: Implement and maintain high-security standards in all operations.Collaboration: Work closely with 2nd-level support, vendors, and development teams for seamless implementation of new releases.Application and Hardware Operation: Ensure the reliable operation of applications and maintain hardware components, including installation and maintenance.What do you bring:
Technical Expertise:
Several years of experience as a Security & System Engineer, including Linux server management (RHCE or equivalent).Solid knowledge of PKI, HSM, and electronic signatures.Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and incident management.Experience in a regulated environment.Additional Skills:
TCP/IP, web application firewalls, automation, and web/application server expertise.Basic knowledge of monitoring solutions, Git (CI/CD), and scripting.Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Red Hat Satellite + Capsule, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, databases, F5 LTM, Cisco switches, Splunk, or PuppetPersonal Attributes:
