For one of our international clients, we are looking for a Project Controls Engineer (m/w) based in Geneva.

Your responsibilities:

  • Development of comprehensive project programs (work breakdown structures, schedules, costs, resources) for projects during all project phases
  • Implement, manage, and maintain cost control system, reports, and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts for all the Projects
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and work breakdown structure (WBS) for project progress
  •  Identify critical paths and ensure action plans are developed and implemented to meet project quality, cost, and delivery objectives
  • Ensure all portfolio programs are updated and reviewed in line with the planning procedure and work instruction to accurately reflect progress
  • Ensure consultant and contractor compliance with contractual planning, scheduling, and reporting requirements satisfying Company requirements and the expectations of stakeholders
  • Prepare and/or ensure that progress reports, including earned value analysis, identifying critical areas, trends and recommending recovery options are set up for all project’s portfolio
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to management on project progress, critical issues and cost information to support decision and alternative selection
  • Organize and lead periodic Project Schedule Sessions highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Controls team and engineering teams to ensure that all project reporting is coordinated, robust, timely and accurately incorporated into the Company reporting system
  • Support the Project Directors with business requests and auditing projects against the planning procedure and work instructions

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Min 2 to 5 years of experience in Project Controls in a construction environment
  • 100% on-site role in Geneva, no home office
  • Ability to travel worldwide
  • Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Planning Software is a real asset
  • Cost management and planning experience on large construction projects of high complexity
  • A “can do” attitude with willingness to handle all necessary tasks
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn new fields, and hard worker
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint with solid presentation Skills
