Care with and for the heart

We are looking for qualified and motivated cardiology nurses.
The tasks of a cardiac catheter nurse include a variety of activities that focus on the care and support of patients with coronary heart disease, heart valve disease, after a stroke (PFO/LAA closures), pulmonary embolisms and cardiogenic shock.

Your area of responsibility

  • Providing holistic and needs-oriented care for patients with varying degrees of clinical complexity
  • Recognizing the needs of patients and their relatives
  • Interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration in a committed team
  • Preparation and follow-up of examinations and interventions
  • Assistance with various interventions: coronary angiographies, right heart catheter examinations, PTCA/stenting, reopening of chronic coronary occlusions (CTO-PCI), MitraClip/TriClip, ASD/PFO occlusions, LAA occlusions, interventional treatment of pulmonary embolisms, pericardial punctures, insertion of Impella pumps in cardiogenic shock, insertion of temporary transvenous pacemakers.
  • Operation, documentation and monitoring of the technical equipment during the examinations
  • Monitoring of the vital signs of the patients before, during and after the procedures
  • Coordination and organization of the interventional examinations and treatments
  • Participation in measures for quality assurance and improvement in the department

Your profile

  • Completed training as a qualified nursing professional HF or BCs, completed training as an MTRA, or comparable qualification
  • Independent, responsible and resilient personality
  • Positive attitude and enjoyment of work
  • Openness to new challenges
  • As a team player, you value interdisciplinary cooperation with all professional groups involved in the treatment
  • Returnees and nursing staff with a knowledge backpack from long-term care who have a high level of self-learning skills are also welcome
