The Manager of Strategic Marketing is responsible for planning, developing and executing marketing plans to maximize the growth of the Drug Product business, build market awareness and drive demand generation in specific market segments. This include the planning, execution and optimization of on- and off-line marketing campaigns with a strong focus on the creation of customer-centric content.
Key responsibilities:
Support execution of marketing plans and go to market strategies to drive awareness and demand generation of existing and new drug product offerings. Support new technology assessment programs in conjunction with appropriate internal teams Oversee the creation of customer-centric content for digital and print execution in close collaboration with subject matter experts and ensure that all external facing communications are on-brand and aligned with marketing and growth objectives Collaborate closely with the central marketing teams (campaign management, digital, branding and advertising etc.) to support development of tactical plans, ensure effective execution of campaigns and ultimately deliver on awareness and demand generation KPIs Measure results, develop insights and optimize campaign if and when appropriate Enable sales team through customer facing materials and collaterals. Develop and maintain excellent relationship and work in close collaboration with various functions and stakeholders within and outside of the Drug Product Services business unit. Key requirements:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in the field of life sciences. MBA/Chartered Institute in the field of marketing is preferred Business fluency in English Proven experience within Strategic marketing and /or Product marketing is required Hands on experience with B2B marketing preferably in the CDMO sector or life sciences. Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns Deep understanding of competitive landscape within biologics, and value proposition within this area. Team player with effective collaboration skills Able to encourage others to bring new ideas and to work differently when the business situation requires it Acts as key communication link between key stakeholders and demonstrates timely and accurate decision making to successfully deliver new offerings to the market Exhibits skillful communication to ensure information sharing and that relevant project team(s) develop relationships across functions. Leads and drives the identification of customer and market needs in the customer segment using data, research and customer relationships Leads multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, with an ability to anticipate and resolve challenges to reach successful conclusion Demonstrates high integrity and accountability for their area ensuring the multi-functional project team(s) actions and decisions are aligned to business objectives Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
