IC Resources is seeking a Lead Data Platform Software Engineer to join our client's team in Baden-Württemberg. The successful candidate will take a leading role in developing a hybrid IoT data platform, directly impacting the solution's efficiency and scalability.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a hybrid (Cloud and Edge) IoT data platform.
• Build a robust and scalable metastore for effective metadata management.
• Develop a storage layer to handle large volumes of sensor data, focusing on data integrity, speed, and scalability.
• Translate business challenges into scalable data architectures in collaboration with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Software Engineers.

Essential Experience:

• BSc or MSc in computer science or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in software and data engineering, focusing on distributed data-intensive applications.
• Good knowledge of storage technologies such as NoSQL, time series databases, document stores, graph databases.
• Python, and Rust or C++.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good communication and in German and English.
