About the Team:
The Central Laboratory Services perform laboratory testing to support clinical trials from our pharmaceutical industry clients. The laboratory is composed of multiple departments with specialized technical expertise.
In the Flow Cytometry department, the scientific team supports with new assay development, validation, implementation and scientific troubleshooting. The team is also heavily involved in developing quality assurance processes in order to ensure the combinability of flow cytometry data across multiple sites, multiple instruments and multiple operators over long periods of time.
Internship Assignment Summary:
Review global instruments performance data on our flow cytometry platform
Based on the data collected and reviewed, propose improvement ideas and processes to enhance quality assurance.
Interact with operational teams to understand their needs and translate into scientific proposal
Present outcomes of assessments to the rest of the global scientific team
Attend scientific calls and trainings to improve understanding of flow cytometry in general, and performing flow cytometry in regulated environment in particular
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
You must be a student and be eligible for an internship agreement with a third party
Minimum of a BSc in Biological Sciences or any related field
Some level of experience with flow cytometry is required
Proficiency in French and English is mandatory
Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
