How will you make an impact? HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Reporting directly to the Group Technical Accounting Manager and based in Bellevue (HQ), this role will be responsible for the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Involvement in monthly consolidation process Assistance with monthly reviews of financial data received from local reporting entities Active involvement in preparation of group external reporting (Annual and interim consolidated financial statements, compensation report, trading statements and analysts’ presentations) Responsibility for specific central processes, which may include tax reporting, pension reporting, IFRS 2, impairment testing, etc.
  • On-going assistance to reporting entity level users in relation to Group reporting rules and systems Preparation, review and update of Richemont accounting policies Assisting local entities in the application of group accounting policies
  • Ad hoc projects Research and preparation of Richemont Reporting Position Papers and memos on IFRS application and/or specific transactions Assistance with the integration of newly acquired entities into the consolidation and reporting system
  • HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years professional experience in a similar role , ideally backed with a previous auditing experience
  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Solid background in finance/management and reporting/controlling gained within a multinational company
  • Applied knowledge of IFRS is a must
  • Excellent literacy of ERP systems as well as basic computer tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with SAP is a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. French / Italian is a plus
  • Structured and precise, with a thorough attention to detail
  • Reliable and diligent, demonstrating strong analytical skills
  • Diplomacy with strong sense of discretion/confidentiality, and strong work integrity
  • Ability and availability to cope with specific accounting agenda and deadlines, namely monthly closing periods
  • Ability to consolidate and summarise information appropriate to the audience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Availability for ad hoc travel requirement (new subsidiaries integration, in-place assistance to local teams)
