Within the Digital Process Development department of the Center of Excellence (CoE) Pharmaceuticals in the Hospital Care division, we are looking for a Global Automation Engineer (f/m/d) Critical Data Management (CDM) at the Melsungen location as soon as possible.
The Digital Process Development department focuses on the digitization and automation of processes on an international level. With the global expert network, consisting of process and production managers, quality managers, and automation experts, you will work together to globally introduce and harmonize Critical Data Management Systems (CDM) to increase automation and continuously advance harmonization and compliance in electronic manufacturing processes.

The Digital Process Development department focuses on the digitization and automation of processes on an international level. With the global expert network, consisting of process and production managers, quality managers, and automation experts, you will work together to globally introduce and harmonize Critical Data Management Systems (CDM) to increase automation and continuously advance harmonization and compliance in electronic manufacturing processes.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Integrate data from various sources (individual systems, complete plants, etc.) into a central data management system
- Develop and implement automated processes for data collection and processing, including script-based system configuration
- Develop and implement tools and algorithms for data preparation as well as dashboards for visualization
- Work closely with various departments and stakeholders, both during the project phase and throughout the entire lifecycle, including the solution owners of the respective areas
- Prepare the validation of a system template, plan, test, and implement it, and later actively work with it (Template - Deployment - Operations)
Professional Competencies:
- You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in a technical or IT field and have professional experience in the pharmaceutical environment
- You have already gained professional experience in automation technology (plant and machine control, HMI, interfaces, edge devices) and have good GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) knowledge
- Ideally, you also have experience with documentation systems for creating GMP-relevant documentation, such as iGrafx
- Your excellent English skills in spoken and written form distinguish you, good German skills are also an advantage
