We are seeking a skilled and innovative Automation Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will design and implement automation solutions to streamline manufacturing planning and logistics operations. By leveraging your expertise in process optimization and technology, you will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
The LeeGroup is a fast-growing D2C company from Lucerne. We produce and sell the best nutritional supplements and skincare products in Switzerland.
Tasks
- Develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing planning and scheduling.
- Streamline logistics processes to improve accuracy and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend technical solutions.
- Integrate IoT systems or monitoring tools to enhance production and logistics efficiency.
- Analyze operational data to uncover insights and guide decision-making.
- Document automation workflows and provide training to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process optimization.
- Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Ability to work with data analysis tools and create actionable insights.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with diverse teams.
- Prior experience with software development.
- You communicate fluently in English and are able understand complex topics in German.
- A valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship.
Addtionally, any of the following would be considered nice to have:
- Experience in integrating ERP systems with manufacturing or logistics workflows.
- Familiarity with automation tools or technologies (e.g., MES, IoT platforms).
- Knowledge of IoT devices, or industrial control systems.
